Leadership At Home 2011

“Good is the enemy of great.”(1) This is how Jim Collins starts his #1 bestseller, ‘Good to Great’ and why At Home Healthcare committed to providing eight months of leadership training to more than 20 of its managers and administrators. Recognizing the need to equip today’s managers with more than just technical knowledge of their craft, the executive committee decided to dedicate time and resources to educate these staff in leadership skills.

Over the course of the series topics included teambuilding, trust, diversity, effective communication, customer service and much more. The training was facilitated by John Grubbs, founder of GCI(2), and was held in communities across East Texas in which At Home Healthcare provides services. All told, more than 1,000 hours of combined education was received.
